Why I’m finally switching things up with my personal writing

I know, I know… you’ve seen this post 1000 times on your feed. But before you switch off and go find something else to read, let me tell you why I’ve done it.

I’ve been a member of Medium from the get-go

It was very early 2013 and this new place to write online which was vastly different to your regular personal blog called “Medium” had appeared.

Let me tell you, I couldn’t have registered an account fast enough.

Soon I was standing on the precipice and could feel the heady winds of opportunity blowing my way. So head-long I dove in, pushing my words out into the world in this new exciting place.

And it was bliss…

I’d spend my mornings writing articles and publishing my heart out, growing an audience of engaged readers, interacting with their comments, and generally feeling quite chuffed about the whole thing.

When 2017 hit and Medium opened up the Partner Program, I jumped at it as well. I’ve consistently been a member since the minute it was available to…
