Substack starts out great, low barrier to entry and such, but wait until you start having thousands of readers.

The 10% fee from subscription payments seems harmless when you have only a few readers, but once you’re big enough you’ll start hurting at the cost.

The other issue with Substack is their new “Pro Deals”. It’s been documented where some writers with large readerships have been offered these deals and come out worse off.
